Why don't phone companies make it impossible for thieves to use stolen phones? Easy - it makes them money. The Thief uses the stolen phone  - money for them. You buy a new phone - MORE MONEY FOR THEM.

PHONE COMPANIES ARE ACCESORIES TO THE CRIME!

The same may be said for car companies - they could make cars impossible for a thief to use too.
