Dave left this morning at 5:30 for Heathrow. He will be flying to NYC mid-morning. He is going for 7 days and will return home next Friday. This is my Christmas Present to Dave. He has several New York Ranger games set up. He has arranged to meet with several friends. He also has a date with an 18oz steak which comes with a gig as additional advantage.

Meanwhile, I will be going to dialysis - I time his trips by how many dialysis sessions I have before he comes home. This time it will be 3. However, I will be off to dialysis on Friday after he gets home at 12:00 so I won't see much of him until I get home as he will probably take a nap as well.

I have been using my netbook at dialysis because my purchase of a replacement for my Sony E-Book was a COMPLETE FAILURE. Trying to get the Sony 600 to work was extremely frustrating. I solved all the problems (it took days of trying and plenty of help from Dave) EXCEPT the final hurdle which was buying an e-book and loading it on the machine.

The PDF file and the directions which come with the machine are worse than USELESS. How do they expect to sell millions of these units when it is so hard to use? Beats me!

I have ordered an Amazon Kindle from America. It left Delaware yesterday and at 8 p.m. last night it was at Stansted Airport. It is about 25 miles from Stansted to my home so I am expecting it this am.

The best feature about the Kindle is that you can order books (wireless) and have them delivered to your machine in a very quick time.

I expect to be reading a book tonight at Dialysis.
