Waiting for Transport to Dialysis - Again

We have not been out of the house since the latest series of snow which has turned to ice on sidewalks and side streets. The council takes no notice of the difficulties of the handicapped, elderly and others with mobility concerns.

The sun is out but it is still just 31F and will get colder tonight. It reached -21F or -8C on this island last night. The weather people are calling it the coldest day of the year. If I had the energy and strength I would shovel myselft but that is no longer possible.

The temps should be going up over the next 5 days. It looks like 36F and some rain on Sunday and Monday which hopefully will clear the ice of the sidewalk. We might have more snow on Sat. with the chances at 40% with highs of 34F and low of 30F.

It has not been fun.
